At what latitude?
Pick a city: the map shows its parallel and the other cities at the same latitude, worldwide, in a continent or in a country, with their climate. At the same latitude climates can be very different: they also depend on the sea, winds, currents and altitude.
- Parallel of the chosen city
- Tolerance band
- Chosen city
- The other cities have the colour of their climate, as on the Climates page; bigger = more inhabitants.
Cities at the same latitude
| City | Latitude | Difference | Distance (km) | Inhabitants | Climate (1991–2020) | Compare climates |
|---|
No cities in this band: try a larger tolerance, more cities or another area.
Difference: how many degrees north (+) or south (−) of the chosen city; in the other hemisphere the distance from the equator is compared. Straight-line distance. The climate is that of the city's point on the Köppen-Geiger climate map (cells of about 5 km); for a very large or coastal city it can change from one district to another.
